Social housing (post 8)

The semester I has learn about social housing in workshop. The process demanded go to a neighborhood that teachers chose. To my team studied Manuel Rodriguez in Lo Prado district.  

The work demanded go to a house of the neighborhoods, talk with the people and know his house and analyzing.

The character of this type of neighborhood is the density. The families have 3 members or 15 members, where living grandmothers with her offspring to great-grandchildren’s. Because they are poor families. So, the housing is different from each other because the families are.

When they get to Manuel Rodriguez, they didn´t have a housing. They only had a lot of 9x18 meters. They built her housing according to they needed.

The exercise to go to talk with the people it was a beautiful experience. A few of workshop demand this, but is necessary for understand the reality.

This housing type is austere because it is built with cheap materials but the families love her house because they built with her hands.

In my opinion this neighborhood has more live that set of housing of real state where the houses are all the same.
